1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to XCalc.io (“XCalc” or “the App”), published by S.C. PRIVILEGE DEVELOPMENT S.R.L. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For support and privacy matters, you can contact us using the contact details in Section 12.
2. Core Approach
XCalc is built to respect your privacy. Most core calculator and converter features are designed to work without an account and without directly sending personal information to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed, when that may happen, and what rights or choices you may have.
3. Data We May Process
We may process limited personal or technical data in the following situations:
A. Support communications.
If you contact us by email or through an in-app email link, we may receive and process your email address, message content, attachments, and any other information you choose to send. If the in-app support email draft pre-fills app or device information, that information is included only so you can decide whether to send it.
B. Apple-provided diagnostics.
For app quality, stability, security, and troubleshooting, we may review crash, performance, and limited usage information that Apple makes available through Apple developer tools for users who have chosen to share diagnostics or analytics with developers. Such information may include technical details such as device model, operating system version, app version, timestamps, and crash diagnostics.
C. Network requests for online features.
Some features may require network access, such as currency exchange information or other online data. When you use those features, your device may connect to external services or infrastructure necessary to retrieve the requested result. Depending on the feature and technical setup, those recipients may receive technical data such as your IP address, request metadata, app version, and device or platform information needed to deliver, secure, cache, troubleshoot, or operate the response.
D. Legal, security, and abuse-prevention records.
We may keep records where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the app, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, enforce rights, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Legal Bases and How We Use Data
We may use the data described in this Privacy Policy to:
• provide, operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve XCalc and related services;
• respond to support requests and communicate with you;
• diagnose crashes, defects, misuse, abuse, security issues, or technical issues;
• protect the integrity, security, availability, and lawful operation of XCalc;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases under applicable law:
• our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, troubleshooting, improving, and defending XCalc and related services;
• compliance with legal obligations; and
• where applicable, your request to initiate a support communication or use an online feature that requires a response.
5. Data Sharing and Recipients
We do not sell your personal data.
We may disclose or make data available only where relevant and necessary to:
• Apple and Apple-provided services or developer tools;
• service providers, infrastructure providers, or data providers that help deliver requested features or support the operation, security, caching, availability, or troubleshooting of XCalc;
• professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or legal counsel where reasonably necessary;
• competent authorities, courts, regulators, or other third parties where required by law, lawful process, or to protect rights, safety, security, or property; or
• a buyer, successor, or transaction counterparty in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or asset transfer.
Third parties may process data under their own terms, privacy notices, retention practices, and technical arrangements.
6. International Transfers
Some recipients may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, we rely on transfer mechanisms or safeguards recognized by applicable law. Further information about applicable safeguards may be requested using the contact details in Section 12.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including support, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
In particular:
• support correspondence and attachments may be retained for as long as needed to respond, maintain a reasonable support history, and protect or defend the app and our rights;
• operational logs or server-side records under our control, if any, may be retained for as long as needed to operate, secure, investigate, troubleshoot, improve, audit, or defend XCalc and related services; and
• exported or retained diagnostic records under our control, if any, may be kept for as long as needed to investigate, resolve, document, or defend against technical, operational, security, or legal issues.
We may retain data longer where required or permitted by law, where deletion is not technically or operationally practical in backups or archived systems for a limited period, or where retention is reasonably necessary for evidentiary, fraud-prevention, security, or legal-claims purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have the right to request access to personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, or information about the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before acting on a privacy or data request.

9. Children
XCalc is a general consumer app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in circumstances that require parental authorization under applicable law. If we learn that such data has been provided to us, we may delete it.
10. Security
We use measures that we consider reasonable and appropriate in light of the nature of the data and risks involved. However, no method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will show a revised last-updated date and document version in the app and/or on the website. Material changes may also be communicated more prominently where appropriate.
